LINOCUTS
I work with lino in my printmaking to create unique, original prints. I use a variety of techniques including reduction for my colour prints, where the lino is cut away as the print progresses. Hand pressing my prints, using a glass baren, enables me to create variation and texture within the prints, and to celebrate these as an integral part of my printmaking process. It is a joy to produce hand crafted, limited edition original prints. I print relatively small editions making each print all the more special.
